And the collective team has an unmatched breadth of experience including numerous published zero-day CVEs, conference speaking engagements, and the following certifications: EWPT, EWPTX, EMAPT, GWAPT, CEH, OSCP, GICSP, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GASF, GMOB, and GXPN.

DJ Fuller
Chief Executive Officer
DJ has over 20 years of experience operating within and leading complex organizations. Prior to joining Pathfynder, DJ was President of Prescient, a Global Risk Management and Intelligence Services firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. While at Prescient, DJ led a global restructuring and oversaw a significant period of growth that included: the acquisition of Prescient’s technology business, development of the firm’s cybersecurity practice, and significant growth in revenue and personnel. Before joining the private sector, DJ was an AH-1W Super Cobra attack helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps, where he led over 200 combat missions across three deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan. DJ earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and holds an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business where he graduated with honors.
When DJ isn’t helping companies hunt cyber threats, he’s dreaming of flying, fishing, and being outside in Bozeman with his wife and twin daughters.

Mike Mullen
Chief Operating Officer
Mike has spent 20 years in the military and private sector building and leading successful teams. Prior to joining Pathfynder as Chief Operating Officer, Mike was Head of Sales at an enterprise software start-up. Before entering the private sector, Mike served in the US Navy for 11 years as a Surface Warfare Officer. During his time in the military, Mike commanded USS Sirocco (PC 6), was head of Engineering Department on USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) and was head of Navigation Department and Strike Division on the USS Vella Gulf (CG 72). Mike graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an MBA in Finance and Management.
When Mike isn’t keeping the Pathfynder train on the tracks, he hacks around the golf course, reads voraciously and gets into trouble with his wife and three kids around Washington, DC.

Bryan Clements
Vice President, Internal Offensive Operations
Bryan has over 20 years of experience performing technical offensive services. After nearly 17 years executing Red Team engagements for the U.S. Intelligence Community, Bryan observed a growing gap between the capabilities of cyber adversaries and the security teams responsible for stopping them. In an effort to close that gap, Bryan transitioned to the private sector where he conducts Red/Purple team assessments focused on securing networks and educating defenders for organizations ranging from midsize to Fortune 50. Bryan also helps organizations maturate their Insider Threat capabilities through the development of cyber analytics and playbooks, and has operated in a variety of industries including energy, financial services, technology, e-commerce, healthcare, crypto, and manufacturing.
When Bryan isn’t performing Red/Purple teams or hunting insider threats, he is an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan who never misses a game. When he isn’t researching new tools or techniques, he can often be found around the softball field or hiking the mountains of Colorado.

Steve Rovelstad
Senior Director, Digital Forensics & Incident Response
Steve is an experienced incident response investigator and trainer, with over 10 years of experience in counterintelligence, cyber counterintelligence, and digital forensics and incident response. He has conducted or lead over 40 breach investigations in the last three years, and has deep expertise in leading corporate breach investigations, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, threat intelligence collection, and cyber security training. Prior to joining the private sector, he served in the United States Army's cyber and intelligence communities.
When Steve isn't diving deep to help companies mitigate damage from cyber security incidents, he has a passion for the mountains and outdoors. His heart remains connected to his original island home in Hawaii where he enjoys spending time with his family around the beaches and waters off Maui.

Michael Coers
Director, External & Web Application
Mike has over 10 years of offensive and application security experience. He has operated within a variety of industries including energy, critical infrastructure, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and crypto, both in house and as a consultant, where he has tested a wide variety of products from standard Microsoft deployments to custom built shipping and logistics tools. Mike has worked collaboratively with clients of all sizes to help them implement, grow, and improve their security tools, processes, and procedures.
When Mike isn't hacking away, he enjoys all things outdoors.

Wade Hester
Director, Offensive Cyber Operations
Wade has over 15 years of cybersecurity experience, including over four years conducting web application, API, network, and external assessments for companies in the payment processing and insurance industries, red teaming against companies in the utility (US Power Grid) and payment processing industries, and leading penetration testing teams. Wade also spent eight years conducting and leading cybersecurity audits and two years within critical infrastructure IT.
Wade constantly seeks to learn and collaborate with business partners to identify security deficiencies, improve detections and processes, and mature any program he’s a part of. He has operated within various industries, including finance, energy, critical infrastructure, and insurance.
When not conducting penetration tests and red/purple team assessments, Wade enjoys the outdoors, time with his family, and martial arts (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai).

Justin is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, holds an MBA from Rice University, and a Masters in Business Analytics from Wake Forest University.
When Justin isn't spreading the word about Pathfynder, he is spending time in the mountains or watching college football (and talking A LOT about it).

Brad Palm
Senior Advisor
Brad is a Senior Advisor to Pathfynder and a SecDevOps strategist and threat hunter for his boutique consulting firm, BruteForce. Prior to life as a civilian, Brad spent 10 years in the Marine Corps as a Combat Engineer, with visits to sandy places but no oceans, and then continued as a Data Systems Specialist. Brad earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of St. Thomas, holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, and has certifications with numerous acronyms from various accreditation bodies.
When Brad isn't cooking things in the lab for Pathfynder, he is spending time free-ranging his kids in the Montana playgrounds. He can be found frequenting local skate parks, climbing uphill to find back-country powder stashes, visiting distant beach breaks, and coaxing his kids to follow him on epic adventures.
